Mississippi Kite is made from FTGFOP1 leaf grade at the Castleton Estate and produced summer of 2026 in Darjeeling, India. This year’s lot is particularly unique.

Mississippi Kite Darjeeling 2nd Flush | Black Tea

Crystal clear, deep reddish amber color. Beautiful tea! The aroma of the dry leaves is like a grape jam with a hint of raisin and clove. The taste is spicy— black pepper, clove, some minerality- limestone. This tea is a bit astringent but not off putting. I brewed it gong fu cha style at 205 degrees. Overall, a quite pleasant and easy to drink brew.
